SARCP was founded to represent the views of the independent care sector, provide support and guidance, up to date information, such as changes in legislation, contracting, funding and training to our members. As an association we regularly meet and work in partnership with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Local Authorities, and North and South Staffs Primary Care Trusts.
In 2002 SARCP became an umbrella body for the Criminal Records Bureau, and we now receive & process in excess of 3,000 applications every year on behalf of members and non-members.
